Russell Isaac Managing Director
Born and bred in the Rhondda Valley, Russell began his broadcasting career as a 'runner' with HTV Wales in 1977. Following a year of MA Research in Argentina, he subsequently joined the HTV news staff in 1980 as a general reporter on Welsh and English language programmes.

He has since worked for a number of UK organisations such as the BBC, ITN and Channel 4/S4C in various roles: TV and Radio news reporter and anchor; Current Affairs and Documentary producer/presenter and Sports producer and series editor. From the Falklands to Afghanistan, from the first Gulf War to the Mexican Zapatista uprising, Russell has helped to keep the public informed of major events within more than a dozen regions of conflict worldwide.
He has been a media consultant in over 30 countries worldwide and has mentored senior production staff and managers for some of the largest broadcast networks in Africa, the Middle East and Asia including projects for OSCE, Al Jazeera and the British Foreign Office.
A pioneer of independent broadcasting, Russell formed Sports Media Services to carry out live and recorded material for organisations and companies involved in a diverse range of activities. Using SMS human and technological resources, Russell launched Livecast Wales with the clear intention of giving smaller organisations and businesses the opportunity to use live and recorded webcast and streaming technologies at a price to suit smaller budgets.
