Over 40,000 fans attended the FIM British Speedway Grand Prix and Livecast Wales were there to entertain them.
This weekend saw the British leg of the FIM world series at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff. Livecast Wales were there to provide live coverage of the pre-race entertainment as well as pre-edited packages from the fan village and pit lane.
Working alongside Livecast's cameras were Sky Sports who had turned out in force to make the Speedway the first ever motorsports event to bebroadcast in 3D.
The GP was eventually won by American Greg Hancock whose victory allowed him to claim top spot in the world series in front of the 43,000 strong crowd. Livecast's output was all part of the experience for the Speedway fans visiting what champion Hancock described as, "one of the best sporting venues in the world."
